The decision follows significant mobilization, particularly from the National Federation of Podiatrists (FNP), which advocated for the importance of better financial support for training.

The new caps bring a significant improvement in the funding granted:
- Daily coverage: increase from €200 to €300
- Annual allowance per professional: from €600 to €900
