Maintaining and strengthening joints - Urgo

Following an injury, sprain, or strain, support for the weakened areas is necessary. URGO Strapping supports the joints that need it, allowing you to resume your activities.

URGO Strapping also adapts perfectly to movement and allows the skin to breathe. Furthermore, the presence of non-woven edges guarantees no risk of local constriction.

Instructions for use:

1. Use on dry, healthy, and oil-free skin.
2. Cut the desired length of strip and peel off the protective paper at one end, continuing to peel it off as you apply it.
3. Construct the support by applying more or less tension to the band depending on the desired effect.
4. Reinforce the support by overlapping each strip once or twice, ensuring that at least half of the first strip is overlapped.

Precautions for use:

• Never apply the strip directly to broken skin.
• Avoid excessive tension when maintaining dressings, as this can generate skin stresses that cause blisters (epidermal detachments).
• Never install under high tension in a circular motion.
• In case of prolonged static use or placement on a sensitive part of the body, an interface is necessary between the skin and the strip.

Contraindications: For the retention of moist material, and therefore in the indication for the retention of probes in resuscitation.

Composition: Woven elastic band coated with a solvent-free elastomeric adhesive mass.
